Caf Supervisor
Chelmsford Theatre has been on an incredible journey since re-opening in early 2023 following a front of house refurbishment, transforming the customer experience and enabling the venue to become a cultural and social hub for all to enjoy at all times of the day, including opening a new caf .
The role will involve supporting the Visitor Experience Management team in building and evolving the Theatre caf offer and supervising the day-to-day caf operation.
This is a practical, hands-on role, with much of working hours spent working the service area, preparing and serving food and drink, ensuring all staff provide a warm and welcoming space to all the users of the theatre. This role would be ideal for someone with experience in a Caf / restaurant environment, with a passion for the community and a commitment to great customer service and upholding standards.
Due to the nature of the theatre operation this role does need the ability to work flexible hours and shifts which include weekends, bank holidays and some evenings. This role is offered is an annualised hours basis.
