Cake Decorator

• Overview

Oversees, coordinates, communicates and maintains efficient operations in this department. Encourages employees to achieve higher productivity while keeping outstanding member services. Keeps a safe and hygienic working environment and free from hazardous materials.

• Inspects quality prior displaying them. Rectifies any discrepancy.
• Carefully monitors that breaks and lunches are being taken as there is a constant need to obey the law.
• Monitors health code compliance such as sanitation, temperatures and pull dates.
• Motivates, encourages and observes employees and delivers appropriate feedback.
• Assists members regarding merchandising or any other queries and participates in product presentation.
• Coordinates activities to achieve sales plan.
• Assists with physical inventory periodically (13 times per year).
• Contributes to the administrative obligations to support the department’s Manager.
• Assists in conducting job interviews. Drafts and participates in presentation of employee reviews.
• Ensures the reliability and the safety of the equipment. Schedules orders and repairs as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.20 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
