About the Role:
As a Capital Allowance Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing valuable, proactive advice throughout all stages of the construction life cycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients and their advisors to gather construction and property documentation.
- Researching the tax history of properties and reviewing legal documentation related to property acquisitions.
- Advising clients on complex legal issues regarding their entitlement to Capital Allowances.
- Preparing claims and reports supported by robust evidence.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Mentoring and training other team members.
- Developing strategies and assessment methodologies, particularly for clients in the infrastructure sector with extensive fixed assets and bespoke finance systems.
- Contributing to sales, marketing, and business development efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in tax incentives and preparation of claims for various property types and investments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage large volumes of data.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Expertise in client relationship management.
- Professional qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as RICS or ATT.
