Role: HR Advisor

Salary: £30,000 per annum + benefits

Location: Hybrid working - Cardiff based office (with the expectation to travel to additional sites when required)

Full time, permanent

As a HR Advisor, you will work in partnership with a team of HR Advisors to supporting the day to day running of the HR function. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR generalist tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise line managers and department heads on HR policies and procedures.
• Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, placing adverts, conducting interviews, and coordinating selection.
• Proactively manage HR inboxes.
• Conduct employee meetings for inductions, probationary reviews, flexible working requests, and family leave.
• Assist in organisation-wide absence management, including reporting and early-stage meetings.
• Welcome and onboard new recruits.
• Collate and report management information.
• Support senior HR team members in grievance or disciplinary procedures.
• Attend university career fairs

What you'll need:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards) or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working within a HR Assistant/Administration/Advisor position
• Understanding of GDPR and employment legislation, and how this translates into practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business
