Job Description
The Capital Markets team manage institutional investors and tracking the performance of investments. They are responsible for identifying easy market trends and taking actions on individual portfolios. They also manage transactions and pre-and post deal activities.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, levering relationships and has a keen interest in cash-flow modelling and investments. You will:
- Take ownership of deals from origination to closing.
- Ensure data accuracy within financial models, working with the data team to solidify assumptions in order to supporting investment offerings.
- Lead on developing pitch documents for new and existing investment opportunities.
- Network amongst investor communities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and respect financial risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Capital Markets Associate should have:
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets and cash-flow modelling.
- Having previously worked in a financial services institution, ideally in a fin-tech, investment bank or scale-up.
- Understanding of financial markets, credit risk management and credit products.
- Previously held responsibility for building investor relationships and managing end-to-end transactions
- Expertise in the structured finance and securitised products space at an institutional level
- Action led and proactive approach to work.
- Enjoys working in an agile and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively to support different teams and stakeholders.
