Mechanical Associate Director £80 to £90K + autonomy + great culture + no office politics
Established over 30 years ago, this multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy now employs around 300 engineers. As a leader in the design and delivery of hotels, residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments they MEP Team is currently going through another period of planned growth.
Reporting to the M&E Director, a down to earth and friendly individual you'll be responsible for leading projects, leading the mechanical team (currently eight individuals), and maintaining key existing client relationships with developers, project managers and architects.
As a Mechanical Associate Director, you'll enjoy working in true partnership with their inhouse Civil, Structural and Energy and Sustainability Engineers. This creates a relaxed, yet professional working environment where everyone is working to achieve the same goal.
It also means they have the sufficient resources, established processes, and knowledge to be able to successfully design and deliver projects in region of £20M to £200M.
Key requirements
- Strong technically in most areas of HVAC design.
- At least 10 years' experience within the building services industry.
- Previous experience working for a consultancy or design and build contractor.
- Broad range of project experience to include residential, hotels, education, commercial and mixed-use developments.
- Able to lead projects and lead a team of engineers.
- Willing to take ownership and accountability for projects under your control.
