Associate Director, National Sales – Grocery GB
Contract type: 12 Month contract (maternity cover)
The Role:
In this role you will build CCEP’s business within the Grocery National Sales environment. Leading a Sales team, you will be responsible for managing our commercial relationships with customers representing a significant proportion of CCEP GB’s revenue and a key growth environment for the future.This is an exciting but demanding role which will require drive, ambition and enthusiasm.
Win Today:
- Own and develop a multiyear strategy for your retail customer with cross functional leaders. This includes monitoring customer / competitor activity, adapting to industry trends and complementing our commercial strategy in other environments
- Own and develop joint business plans (JBPs) with your customer, identifying joint opportunities for growth to deliver against CCEP commercial targets
- Continuously monitor progress and delivery against JBPs to inform new opportunities and/or account challenges to address
- Manage the account P&L and commercial/ customer investments to realise or exceed financial objectives
- Identify and unlock opportunities to optimise your customers revenue; volume, mix and pricing across all instore fundamentals (range, space, activation & equipment)
- Own and develop customised account promotional plans for your customer
- Proactively build and nurture a strong relationship with your customer, including at the senior level to build confidence as a trusted preferred FMCG partner
- Collaborate with support functions (e.g., Marketing, Merchandising) to deliver key customer and sales initiatives
- Lead team responsible for day-to-day management of [customer]; responsible for the personnel development & performance management
- Proactively resolve trading and executional issues that affect our customers or require positive escalation to resolve
- Manage all financial investments (CMA and OPEX) to ensure annual profit objectives are delivered
- Collaborate across the sales teams to ensure CCEP-GB’s objectives are delivered across all environments
- Support delivery of CCEP’s working capital targets through improvements to our Accounts Receivable ledger.

- Identify potential opportunities and risks within account performance; build solutions to capture and/or address and input into demand planning

What we're looking for:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 Months experience at AD level within FMCG. Experience working on Top 4 (Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons, JS) or Aldi Lidl is prefered. We are looking for someone with a high level of commercial skills and excellence in selling, negotiation, forecasting and commercial awareness. We will also be looking for demonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem solving, high level of influencing skills and a passion to drive and shape the culture of an inclusive, sustainable high performing team.
