Earlsdon Park Retirement Village, located in the centre of Coventry and is part of the Extracare Charitable Trust are now recruiting Care and Support Workers to support our in-house domiciliary care service.

If you are naturally caring,compassionate, patient, and personable and looking to develop a career in care then you may well be our next Care and Support Worker.
- Role: Care and Support Worker
- Hours: 2 x 21 hours + 6 flex up & 1 x 16 hours per week + 4 hours flex up.
Contractual hours will be guaranteed giving you job security. Flex Up hours will be in addition to your contracted hours and will be used when required to cover known and planned absences. The decision to use these hours will remain with the management team and you will be given prior notice should these additional flex hours need to be utilised.
- Salary: £10,295 to £13,512 (£12.34 per hour). Additional flex hours will be paid at £12.34 p.h.
- Location: Earlsdon Park Retirement Village, Coventry
Please note: All Care and Support Workers will need to be fully flexible across a 7-day rota system, which will be given in advance and will be expected to work weekends as required to meet the needs of the domiciliary care service.
As aCare and Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
- Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal Care and Support with social activities
- Promoting and Supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
- Encourage independence and self-belief
- Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy
Person Specification
- Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification
- Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
- Passionate about delivering a quality care service
