What is typical day like as Care Assistant with Guinness?
When you are supporting people, no two days are ever the same! Our customers live in their own flat and have dedicated time for us to give them the support that they need.
You be helping our customers to get up and ready for the day ahead, providing personal care, assisting with medications, preparing meals, making sure their flat is clean, tidy, and safe. Whilst completing these practical tasks, you will be providing important companionship and emotional support.
What do you need to be a Care Assistant?
- You should be able to demonstrate our care values: Caring , Accountable , Respectful , Ethical and Dedicated .
- You should be comfortable providing personal care (washing, showering, toileting, etc).
- Experience is not essential as we provide comprehensive training and shadowing.
- You will need to be able to work shifts between 7am to 2pm and 2pm and 10pm on a rota basis, including alternate weekends (both days).
