Care Home Manager

Position:Care Home Manager
Location: Rugby, UK

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Care Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for elderly frail residents.
• Leading and motivating a dedicated team of care staff to deliver person-centered care and promote residents' independence and well-being.
• Implementing and monitoring care plans, conducting regular assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to foster a supportive and inclusive community within the Care Home.
• Managing budgets, resources, and administrative tasks effectively to maintain operational efficiency and financial sustainability.

Requirements:

• NVQ/QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management and in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the care sector at a senior level, with a strong understanding of the needs of elderly frail residents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and empower others to achieve their full potential.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and quality of life for residents.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and flexible attitude towards addressing challenges in a fast-paced environment.
