We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in maintaining compliance, supporting current and new residents, managing the staff team, and overseeing rota management. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our Residential Home and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our residents.
Day-to-day of the role:
Assist the Registered Manager in ensuring the home operates within compliance and regulatory standards.
Provide support and care to current and new residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
Manage and lead the staff team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Oversee rota management to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and the overall resident experience.
Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, ensuring open and effective communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
level 3 in health and care and preferred Level 5 qualification in Health Care or Leadership and Management.
At least one year of experience in a similar role within a residential care setting.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
A compassionate approach and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within the care sector.
