Deputy Manager required for a Good rated dementia care home in Warwickshire.
We're delighted to be recruiting a Deputy Home Manager for a very popular elderly residential care home in the Leamington Spa area. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to join a leading not for profit elderly care provider at one of their vibrant dementia care homes.
Responsibilities:
- As Deputy Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Home Manager and care team to address operational challenges and devise action plans for enhancing the care and quality of the home.
- Reporting into the Home Manager you'll ensure the delivery of high standards of care through the coaching, supervision and day to day management and leadership of the staff team.
- Assume overall accountability for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience in managing staff within a care home or a similar environment is essential, with a background in working within a dementia unit or dementia home.
- We're seeking someone qualified with the NVQ L3/4/5.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, covering shifts, and responding to emergencies beyond regular working hours is essential.
Remuneration:
- Salary offered £34,000 - £35,000pa
- 40hrs per week to include alternate weekends
- 25 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays)
