The Role:

The Care Rostering & Relationship Supervisor role provides a fantastic opportunity for the successful applicant to further develop their skills and apply them in the workplace, and a great move in the Bluebird Care Career Journey.

The role of the Care Rostering & Relationship Supervisor is vital to the smooth running of operations here at Bluebird Care, it involves getting to know both our care team and customers on a personal level so that you can match their interests and skill sets to create positive outcome's. As well as looking at factors such as interests and skill sets you will also need an eye for efficiency!

Our Team love spending as much time with our customers as possible and by contrast a minimal amount of time in their car driving between visits. Therefore, as well as matching customers and our care assistants on likes and interests you also need to take account of things such as area's and travel time, preferred time of care visit as well as the care assistants availability.

Who would suit it:

The successful applicant will be a people's person "someone who can sell ice to the eskimo's". They will be approachable and have an understanding for both the customers and their colleagues needs. It is essential that the Care Co-Ordinator is a positive person with a half glass full mentality.

Working closely and alongside our Head of Care, you will be a dynamic individual, joining our team, in our exciting expansion and assist us to meet our of being to provide high quality care to more people in their own homes.

Ideally with experience in a similar role with at least 2 years care experience, and the enthusiasm to build care hours.

Duties:

Duties will include preparation of rotas on a weekly basis, taking on new packages of care, liaising with commissioners, social workers, families, and other health care professionals. Knowledge of rostering systems or care management systems to allocate and change customer visits is also required as well as good IT skills.

Location & Office Hours:

The role will be based at our Stamford office and required to work between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The role will also include taking turns to be on-call for which there will be extra pay and days off in lieu. This may include working outside of normal working hours and some weekend working.

You must be a driver with a car and be prepared to cover calls if necessary.

Ideally you will have a minimum of a NVQ/QCF level 2 in Care and be willing to work towards a level 3.
