This role

Are you seeking an opportunity to develop your career at a leading Housing Trust? Can you demonstrate a track record of providing an excellent service to your customers? Do you have the capability to manage and motivate a team to provide continued improvements in our services? If the answer is yes to all three than please do not hesitate in applying for this role.

We are looking to appoint a Team Leader in Harlow to ensure the service provided is consistently improving and can lead the teams by example. The service supports customers with Learning Disabilities. The customers are adults looking to still be proactively involved in community activities and learning opportunities. As such you will have the opportunity to support them achieve this.

This is a great first step into management. You will be leading by example a team of Care & Support workers, as well as providing support to customers. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and business requirements, while delivering excellent, personalised, value for money services to customers.

What you`ll need to succeed

To be successful in the role previous experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential. We are seeking individuals that have previously provided care or support to adults. You will demonstrate you understand what good support looks like, which is appropriate to the age, gender, disability, race, religion and sexuality of the customer to improve their quality of life and independence.

Essential is that you have a passion for providing excellent support to customers and strive for continual improvement. You will embrace our core values and support in embedding these in everything the team does.
