Care and Support Team Leader

 

Colchester

 

£12.42

 

37.5 hours per week

 

 

We’re looking for an experienced Care and Support Team Leader to support a team of Care and Support Assistants in making a real difference to the lives of our customers.

 

You will be providing personal, practical, and emotional support to customers living in their own homes, providing personalised Care and Support that enables encouraging customers to reach and maintain an optimum level of independence.

The role of Care and Support Team Leader will include:

  • Supervising and Supporting a team of Care and Support Assistants
  • Assessing the needs of our customers, writing, and updating support plans
  • Managing and monitoring plans to ensure a high standard of Care and Support is offered
  • Identifying and reporting hazards and faults, completing risk assessments and ensuring equipment is kept in working order
  • Managing the development of staff to ensure skilled staff are available to meet business needs
  • Participating and contributing to staff meetings

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience in a Care and Support environment is essential
  • Previous experience in a staff supervision role is desirable
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Experience with working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence is essential
