Care Support Worker

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate Care Workers to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. If you have a passion for supporting seniors and individuals in need of care, we want to hear from you.

Duties:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, dressing, and meals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Administer medication under supervision
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behaviour
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Implement behaviour management strategies
- Drive residents to appointments or outings when required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

Experience:
- Previous experience in care, nursing homes, or home care is desirable
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Ability to provide patient-centred care with empathy and respect
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- A valid driver's licence is required for transporting residents

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
