- THE ROLE -

Ulster University is committed to enhancing and developing our professional services and our academic staff and, to assist us in doing that, we are expanding our Organisation Design and Change team to include a Career Pathways Framework Advisor.

Operating within the wider People & Culture team, the Organisation Design and Change team will contribute to programmes of work to better enable the University to achieve the right culture, behaviours, skills and engagement.

The Career Pathways Framework Advisor will specifically be focused with supporting the design and implementation of frameworks which allow staff in all roles and grades to understand the opportunities available to them within the University, and identify their potential development steps.

Areas of focus will include:

- Contribute and support on the design and delivery of a Career Pathways Framework;
- Provide specialist Career Pathways and development expertise;
- Assist the Career Pathways Framework Partner in agreeing the scope of Career Pathways;
- Support the identification and collection of Career Pathways data;
- Support the development of future frameworks in relation to Career Pathways;
- Support the design and embedding of appropriate governance mechanisms;
- Identify and adopt leading practice / innovation in the area of Career Pathways;
- Make a contribution to the growth of the Organisation Design and Change function; and
- Contribute to the delivery of the wider People and Culture operational plan.

- ABOUT YOU -

Candidates who wish to apply for this role must:

- hold a Degree or other relevant professional qualification
OR
- A Levels or equivalent qualification with a commitment to enrol on and complete a relevant professional qualification in the area of organisational development or HR;
- have experience in an Organisation Design, Change Management, Strategic Consultancy, Organisational Development and / or HR role within a large complex organisation; and
- have experience of working on Career Pathways / progression projects.
