Careers and Employability at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College
Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College is committed to providing all our students with a high-quality programme of careers education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG). We firmly believe that all students have an entitlement to such provision and recognise the key role it must play in achieving the College’s aims of fulfilling each student’s potential, providing equality of opportunity, and maintaining high standards of achievement.
A planned progressive programme of activities supports each student to choose a pathway which suits their interests and abilities and helps them to follow a career path which will allow them to sustain employment throughout their working lives.
The College has a track record of outstanding success in its initiative of forging new links with businesses and in its delivery of industry placements and work experience. The aim is to provide highly successful T Level placements and work experience opportunities, for example the College is proud to be one of the founders of a cross city initiative with Leeds Teaching Hospital providing guaranteed placements for all of Leeds T Level Health students. The department is especially proud to be recognised in the College’s recent outstanding Ofsted report: ‘specialist careers staff guide students exceptionally well’.
Closing date: 9am on Monday 18 March 2024.
It is intended that interviews will take place week commencing 18 March 2024.
