Marsden Infant and Nursery School are seeking to appoint a Caretaker.
We are looking for a well-motivated, reliable and responsible individual who is able to work both on their own and as part of the wider school team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring the school is opened/closed and secured daily.
• Undertake general building repairs and complete basic repairs as required.
• Be responsible for the general upkeep of the school building and premises.
• Lead and work alongside a small team of cleaners to ensure the school is cleaned to the required standard.
• Carry out and record statutory checks and assist with the maintenance of Health & Safety records.
Previous experience of general building maintenance, including repairs and cleaning, is required.
An understanding of Health and Safety, security and fire alarm systems is also required.
