Based in Hampshire, you will join them on a full-time, permanentbasis,and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £33,000 per annum and excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities as the Carpenter Multi will include:

• Diagnosing and rectifying faults within core and other trade related repair requests
• Ensuring that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards
• Responding swiftly to all emergency situations and resolve them efficiently
• Undertaking all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimizing no-productive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered
• Applying applicable Health & Safety rules in all you do, using risk assessments, method statements and PPE when required
• Being willing to work out of hours, if required, to the requirements of the client and customer

What the company are looking for in their Carpenter Multi:

Skills

• Fit and Fix Mortice Latch and Latch set, Door Hanging, Door Lining and Rebated framework
• All aspects of kitchen installation with mitred worktop joints
• Able to use the phone and PDA to communicate effectively, explaining yourself clearly and concisely, understanding what information you need or need to provide
• Be comfortable in dealing with tenants and remain professional even when issues are contentious

Knowledge

• Fabrication work - remodeling and repairs to structures and frameworks
• Previous experience of fire door installation
• Being competent with your sphere of expertise

Qualifications

• A trade specific qualification minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry
• Must be competent in 2 other secondary skills
• Full current driving licence

Experience

• Over 3 years trade experience, ideally in the residential repairs sector
• Have a good knowledge of residential Building Regulations
• 5 years’ experience of kitchen installations = 1st and 2nd Fix
• Previous experience of Laminate fitting (Desirable)
