Job description


A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Carrier Management team for a client focussed individual. This is a dynamic and expanding area of our business that is investing in its people, data & technology, advisory services and future proposition.
This role will help drive our strategic carrier partner relationships and growing proposition in our London team.
The Role
  • Ensure the delivery of contractually committed services to carriers that are contained within our Carrier Services Agreements, whilst coordinating and collaborating with our global teams where appropriate
  • Building relationships throughout the organisation
  • Own a Global Carrier Relationship and manage cross regional activities 
  • Be the local focal point of our relationships with relevant carriers, internally and externally, plus lead or support the regional/ global coordination as appropriate 
    In conjunction with our Analytics teams provide carriers with performance analytics and feedback, identify resulting opportunities and areas for improvement, and build these into our agreements
  • Help drive our Data and Technology strategy 
  • Lead and support development of our new Carrier Management value proposition, alongside supporting innovation in products, services and propositions more broadly - both internally and to carriers as part of the services provided
  • Lead aspects of and support the sales activities related to our Carrier Service Agreements – whether new sales, renewal of existing agreements, or cross sell of WTW services
  • Act as an early warning system - recognised both internally and within the client to be the person of contact to deal with escalation, claims issues and strategic placement changes
  • Advocate for helping the client navigate WTW, understand structure and strategy including growth / sales strategy
  • Promoting greater knowledge sharing and awareness internally of the client’s overall relationship, trends, activities with WTW
  • Develop a deep and qualified understanding of business strategy, underwriting appetite and capabilities

The Requirements
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with the Broking teams, taking responsibility for alignment and coordination with specific business units and functions
  • A confident communicator who can liaise with senior stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Practical experience of broking and/ or underwriting processes and practices, working towards or holding relevant qualifications would be advantageous
  • Project management/ organisation skills and experience and ability to deliver to timeframes
  • Ability to present clearly, translating concepts and information in a manner that is appropriate and accessible to all levels
  • A creative problem solver who can prioritise well whilst performing effectively under pressure.
  • Comfortable to undertake or instruct the organisation, analysis and interpretation of structured and unstructured data and information to be used for decision-making
