We are looking to recruit a Cash & Banking Administrator to join our Wickes Finance Team in our Support Centre in Watford. The purpose of this role will be to provide support to store managers, design consultants and other stakeholders within the business. It is a reconciliation focused role helping to ensure a strong control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily reconciliation of store sales to their declared banking (Day ticking)
Cashbook preparation - ensuring they are fully reconciled in a timely manner and making sure all issues are investigated and dealt with quickly. This includes preparing month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
Weekly tasks including analysis of Cash Collection deliveries (Loomis) and assist with raising online refunds and VAT receipts.
Bank statement uploads as per the C&B team rota.
Assisting the team with the administration and processing of Finance consumer credit loans for Kitchen & Bathroom Finance. This includes management of the loan
agreements, dealing with store finance queries and liaising with finance providers.
Ad hoc tasks as well as providing cover for the rest of the team when needed.
What are we looking for:
Confident working with and understanding Bank Recs
Good Excel skills such as use of SUMIFS & VLOOKUPS
An understanding of debits and credits
Confident communicator and be comfortable to build strong relationships
Good attention to detail
