Category Manager Hybrid £40,000 - £45,000 Permanent Birmingham
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public sector organisation in Birmingham, to recruit a Category Manager. This position would suit an individual with a track record in the public sector, an understanding of PCR and strong stakeholder management skills.
Role:
- To lead, design and implement Category strategies across complex areas of spend to deliver measurable procurement improvement
- Running above and below threshold tenders from end-to-end ensuring full compliance
- Leading on procurement projects within procurement category and providing sound procurement advice to stakeholders
- Strong knowledge and experience of using PCR2015
- Knowledge on all procurement and commercial aspects of specific categories
- Engaging with stakeholders on a regularly
Individual:
- Public Sector background
- CIPS qualification is desirable
- Great understanding of public contract regulations
- End to End Tendering experience
- Manging multiple projects at once
