We currently have several permanent vacancies to join our team based at Bell Baxter High School. All posts are Monday to Friday, working 10, 15 or 20 hours per week either term time 38-week or 52-week contracts as required.
Bell Baxter High School, Cupar
Catering Assistant
- Bell Baxter High School – 20 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 4 hours per day between 8am to 3pm)
- Bell Baxter High School – 15 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 3 hours per day between 8am to 3pm)
- Bell Baxter High School – 10 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 3 hours per day between 8am to 3pm)
Mobile Catering Assistant
- Bell Baxter High School – 20 hours per week, 38-week or 52-week contracts (as required 4 hours per day between 8am to 3pm) covering schools in the Cupar area as required.
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- £12.00 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks and annualised for 38-week contracts.

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether its Breakfast Club, Morning Break or Lunch you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.
The Person
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
