We currently have a few permanent vacancies to join our team of Commercial Caterers at Café Carnegie, Carnegie Leisure Centre, Dunfermline. Post available are:
- Post 1 – 15 hours per week on a back shift – 3 hours per day on a 52-week contract. Working times to be discussed at interview.
- Post 2 – 12 hours per week on a Saturday & Sunday – working every second weekend on a 52-week contract. Working times to be discussed at interview.
- Post 3 – 6 hours per week on a Saturday & Sunday – working every second weekend on a 52-week contract. Working times to be discussed at interview.
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks.

This work is about providing customer service, in a busy café environment. Ensuring visitors to the Leisure Centre are catered for accordingly – this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks and beverages to clients and recording any payments. All on the job training is given – as well as working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate qualification.
The Person
No specific qualification is required for this post as full training will be given.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
