The role
Our CCTV Operator (Response Centre Officer) will be responsible for the running of a portfolio of sites working closely with teammates in the Response Centre, Mobile Response, Static Officers and Patrol Officers.
This will include working in a fast-paced environment, managing all incoming telephone calls, emails and radio communication. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of all teams and completing administration activities and delivering peace of mind through effective security to our clients.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Delivering the highest standard of customer service to our clients
- Ensuring all mobile alarm activation requests are handled through to completion
- Monitoring and responding to CCTV activations
- Monitoring and responding to technical client’s alarm activations and ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Monitoring and responding to missed check calls and late book ons via our internal rostering system
- Providing general support to all areas of the business including technical queries.
- To monitor the office CCTV system and respond to incidents as required.
- Ensuring a full daily handover is completed of the previous shift’s activities to the relevant people.
The ideal candidate would have the following skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of the security industry
- Understanding of risk management and health and safety policies and approaches
- Experience of operating in a regulated and quality-based industry
- Clear and concise communication at all levels
- Highly organised with effective prioritisation
- Good attention to detail
