WM College looking to appoint a new Chair of Governors
Can you guide, cherish, and celebrate the oldest adult education college in London?
WM College is not just any college. Based in Camden, it has been helping adults to escape barriers of class, education, and poverty for 170 years. George Orwell taught English here, Ralph Vaughan Williams taught music and Dante Gabriel Rossetti taught art. Today we teach learners from all backgrounds how to read, write, paint, sculpt and compose symphonies as well as pass their GCSEs in English and Maths.
We are looking for a new Chair of Governors to ensure that our future is as successful as our past. Our new chair will be able to bring governors together to support the Principal in the development of a new strategic plan and will lead the Board to deliver it for learners.
If you are committed to innovation, responsiveness, and the continuation of adult education and have strong political, financial and communication skills, we'd love to hear from you.
