The team you’ll work with
The Transformation & Strategic Change team serve as the primary interface, facilitating innovation Banking Change and Transformation. Exclusively focused on enabling transformational change in HSBC Innovation Banking, the team is guided by our strategic ambitions, and deliver their programmes through an agile way of working. The team are passionate about and focussed on bringing all the strategies owned by each EXCO member together into one overarching strategy for HSBC Innovation Banking organisation, addressing all aspects of the evolution of the business.
We have 2 brand new opportunities to join us as a Change Delivery Manager, focussed on different areas of value stream delivery.
The value you’ll add:
As a Change Delivery Manager, you’ll be a key member of the Change and transformation team; leading on functional change programmes and future change Value Streams to embed change that will help HSBC achieve its strategic goals and objectives. This role is instrumental in supporting and driving the business to achieve benefits realisation and returns on their change investments. The role will also play a key role in the implementation and adoption of the Agile operating model across HSBC Innovation Banking,
What you can expect to be doing:
Leading adoption and continuous improvement of Agile Ways of Operating across the portfolio through coaching and driving empowerment from Change Leadership
Delivering Change Delivery plan for commercialisation with Markets (incl. market run ahead activities, Change & Implementation, Market Activation engagement etc).
Proactively identifying, managing, and controlling delivery risks across the portfolio, including acting as the key escalation point within the portfolio for high-impact risks, issues, blockers and dependencies
Supporting Business & Technology Leads with prioritisation and roadmap for delivery.
Identifying and managing dependencies with Group Platforms, Market Teams and other delivery Portfolios, actively problem solve and generate options for resolution to keep delivery at pace.
Requirements
The experience you need:
Defined Change Portfolio / Value Stream delivery with evidence of transformation, portfolio management and risk management gained in a consulting or corporate matrix environment.
A strong understanding of the different phases of product delivery, including how to lead a team through the different phases of the delivery product lifecycle.
Strong leadership, executive stakeholder, and people management skills, able to navigate across structures in complex business organisations.
Working knowledge of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, with an ability to teach/ coach Agile principles within and outside of the team.
Strong commercial orientation, history of balancing risks versus rewards, maximizing the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business and supporting effective budget management within delivery portfolio / value stream.
