Change, Projects and Business Analysis Apprenticeships

If so, we are looking for you! 

We’re recruiting a number of people for a new “Change, Projects and Business Analysis” apprenticeship programme for Central Government with a September 2024 start. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to grow your skills, develop your interests in technology and Business whilst gaining valuable work experience to kick start your career. 

The facts 

  • Central London based 
  • Full time, with one day a week working from home completing your qualification. 
  • Apprentice will run for a minimum of 18 months with the opportunity to apply for a number of full time permanent roles once your apprenticeship is complete
  • Starting salary of £23,900 with an opportunity to increase after 12 months
  • 25 days annual leave, flexible working, train season ticket loan, onsite subsidised restaurant and gym facilities, pension contribution and opportunities to travel
  • You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to both renowned private sector businesses as well as multiple Central Government departments

What is a Change, Projects and Business Analysis Apprenticeship?

Change, Projects and Business Analysis specialists explore new technologies to solve business problems, and implement them in a strategic way to transform the businesses goals, processes and technologies. 

This apprenticeship is aimed at creative, innovative and strategic individuals who have a passion for technology. You don’t need to have any previous work experience in the sector, you will gain this from your apprenticeship - all we ask is that you are ambitious, passionate and willing to learn. 

You will be working across a variety of Government departments on projects which help transform the way the processes and technologies run within government. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in career workshops, soft skills training and team building experiences. This is a great apprenticeship to kickstart your career, gain valuable work experience and study for your L4 Business Analyst apprenticeship qualification. 

You won’t be on your own and will be supported by a team of dedicated mentors who were once in your shoes and are now trusted employees and who can help you get the most out of this experience. 

What skills and interests do I need to apply? 

  • Are you passionate about tech? 
  • Are you curious about change and using tech to make those changes?  
  • Do you have an analytical mind? 
  • Can you think in a methodical way?
  • Do you have good communication skills?
  • Do you like to work as part of a team?
  • Do you have good time management and organisational skills? 
  • Are you able to look at data and make sense of it? 

If you think you hit some of the above, then we want to hear from you! 

You don’t need to have previous work experience, we just recommend that you have the following; 

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs (Grade 4 and above or equivalent in Maths and English)
  • 2 A levels/equivalent Level 3 qualification (NVQ, T level, NVQ etc) in any subject at grade A* -D or equivalent.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply you must:

  • Be a British Citizen or have dual nationality
  • Have lived in the UK permanently for 7 out of the last 10 years
  • Be 18yrs at the time the apprenticeship begins (September 2024)
