Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Technical Knowledge: Should have a strong understanding of testing practises, as well as a deep knowledge of automotive tehnologies (e.g Communication buses) .
• Leadership: Should be able to lead and inspire their team, while also providing guidance, feedback, and support.
• Communication: Should be an excellent communicator, able to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Should have experience managing software development projects, including the ability to create and manage project plans, monitor progress, and ensure that deadlines are met.
• Team Building: Should be able to create a cohesive team that works together effectively and efficiently, and foster an environment of trust, respect, and collaboration.
• Problem-Solving: Should be able to think creatively and solve complex problems, as well as identify potential issues and develop solutions proactively.
• Strategic Thinking: Should be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans that align with business goals and objectives.
• Adaptability: Should be able to adapt to changing circumstances, shifting priorities, and new technologies.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Should be able to coach and mentor team members, helping them to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Should be able to analyze data and make informed decisions based on objective evidence, as well as use data to identify areas for improvement and optimize team performance.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Knowledge of the software development process, including agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in managing software development projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, and GitLab, and experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Ability to lead a team of developers, including coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office.
