Charity Manager

Civitas Recruitment are excited to be working with a great UK based international charity focused on delivering literacy and educational programmes to those who have needs in developing regions. The right to relevant education and literacy is a cornerstone of what the charity does. The charity operates  globally including sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Suriname. An opportunity exists for a Fundraising executive to join the team and work closely with the Fundraising manager to develop and delivery the fundraising programme in the UK. The Fundraising Executive will work with  existing donor groups which includes local community groups including churches and schools as well as develop new areas and participate in events fundraising. A great role for the successful candidate to develop their fundraising career. This is a full-time, permanent role, flexible working options available. 

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a passion for the non-profit sector with excellent communication skills. You will be a self-starter and be confident in engaging with a diverse group of donors and stakeholders. Working towards fundraising targets will be a challenge you relish, and you will be creative in your approach looking to develop new strategies and maximising what already works well. Previous experience of fundraising would be an advantage as would knowledge of supporter care.
