If you want to be part of our 4-star deluxe property at the amazing location of Knightsbridge, don't miss the exciting opportunity we currently have at The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge for an enthusiastic Chef De Partie to join our growing kitchen team.
As Chef De Partie your key responsibilities will include:
- To deputise for the Senior Chef De Partie in his/her absence
- Ensure you are able to prepare, cook and present all dishes from the menu and facilitate any reasonable requests
- In Coordination with the Demi Chef De Parties and Commis Chefs, ensure that all necessary mise-en-place is prepared and that all necessary work is completed prior to commencement of service
- To confirm with the Senior Chef De Partie/Sous Chefs any special requirements for service
- To ensure the standard of all food from the allocated section is as per the recipe file before it leaves kitchen, i.e. quality, standard of presentation and service adhered to
- To minimise wastage ensuring correct stock rotation and stock levels in fridges, dry store room and cupboards
- Ensure, along with the Senior Chef De Partie, that there are the food stocks and dry stores produce to meet the requirements of the sections
As Chef De Partie essential skills are:
- Previous similar working experience for 4-5* hotel is preferable
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile
- Good communications skills with a positive and energetic nature
- It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
- Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays

The hotel boasts 222 well-appointed guest rooms, ranging from Standard and Superior rooms to Club rooms and Luxury suites.
The hotel is home to the Tangerine Bar, a lively lounge bar and the perfect spot for lunch, dinner or drinks on the charming outdoor terrace.
