We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our team in Glasgow.
This role will be suited to a chef with several years of experience in all sections, including pastry, at a high level. You will be comfortable in a fast-paced and potentially high-volume kitchen, keeping the quality to the highest standards.
Your day will be constantly changing. From morning prep, to service, possibly more prep, banqueting and catering and more service.
Ideally, you will have :
* A strong working knowledge of all sections in the kitchen.
* Basic butchery experience.
* Experience in using fresh produce.
* A professional attitude and approach.
* Fully COSHH and HACCP compliant.
* The ability to work well under pressure.
* Career longevity (2 years minimum at the same place).
* Minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
* A strong work ethic.
* The ability to teach and guide junior staff.
* Share best practice.
* Contribute towards specials and menu items when asked.
Nice to haves :
* Full drivers licence and own vehicle.
* Experience in Michelin star and/or Rosette level cooking.
* Hotel experience.
* Willing to work breakfast shift if the need arises.
