Chef
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to assure smooth operation
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet the restaurant's standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a chef in a restaurant setting (Ideally Fish & Chips Restaurant)
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to motivate a team of kitchen staff

Salary: £13.50-£17.50 per hour
