Chief Financial Officer

SF Executive have been retained to recruit a Chief Financial Officer a private equity backed, product / FMCG business based in Warwickshire.
The business in question has turnover approaching £50m and is highly profitable thanks to their enviable client list and excellent reputation.
Having grown to £50m turnover, the CEO of the business is looking to recruit a CFO / FD to help them take the business to the next level - this needs someone who can come in and significantly improve the financial infrastructure of the business and transform finance to a proactive service offering for the whole organisation.
As right hand to the CEO, you will cover the following -
- Ensure effective cash management & forecasting processes
- Monitor compliance with governance & reporting requirements
- Review & improve budget, forecast & business planning processes identifying best practice and satisfying group requirements
- Review financials & systems
- Oversee bank and investor relationships
- Financial review of key commercial and strategic initiatives - key contract negotiations, capital expenditure, pricing proposals, acquisitions.
- Acquisitions - identify opportunities, due diligence and post-acquisition integration
You will be a qualified accountant and probably already be working within a standalone product led business. Ideally you will have worked under private equity ownership and have led some form of exit transaction.
You will be proactive, personable, calm under pressure, and focused on results whilst also leading by example to inspire the team to achieve their objectives.
Living within commuting distance of Warwickshire is very much a requirement - we aren't looking for someone having to travel excessively or stay away from home during the week.
