Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller will oversee the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The role offers great career progression and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial aspects, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Establish and uphold financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and asset protection.
- Prepare periodic financial statements, analyses, and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities to optimize liquidity and support business expansion.
- Assess financial performance regularly, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and track performance against targets.
- Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors for timely completion.
- Stay abreast of accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 3 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in real estate or property development.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven leadership skills and team management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
