Integra Education are currently seeking to recruit a 1:1 Support Assistant to work at the Family home based in the Leeds area.
You will be working on a 1-to-1 basis with the child at the home, creating activities and resources with the oversight and direction of the Lead Tutor.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the pupil on a 1-to-1 basis


• Report writing and note taking


• Innovatively engage difficult to reach young people through their interests and create activities and resources with the oversight and direction of the Lead Tutor

Requirements of this role:

• Experience working with pupils who have a high-level anxiety - Social anxiety and history of panic attacks.


• Driving licence and ability to travel as and when the job requires - essential


• The candidate should feel confident to collect educational attainment evidence from 1-1 sessions as directed by the Lead Tutor.


• The ability to work with a wide range of professionals and deliver provision as directed from reports.


• An excellent understanding of safeguarding and the willingness to be a safeguarding adult within the home.

Desirable but not essential for this role:

• Experience working with a service dog


• Experience working in a self directed education environment.


• An understanding of EOTAS packages


• Aptitude working within NCFE framework.
