Form of workThis well-established Yorkshire based firm is looking for a Childcare Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE to join the team in Scunthorpe.
Responsibilities for the Childcare Solicitor:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in divorce and financial remedy matters
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis pertaining to cases
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including petitions, agreements, and court pleadings
- Collaborate with the legal team to achieve personal and team goals and objectives
- Utilise advocacy skills to represent clients at Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal procedures
- Provide excellent client service, maintaining clear communication and addressing client concerns
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of legal practice
- Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, with expertise in practice and procedure related to Divorce and Financial Remedy matters
- Possess in-depth knowledge of cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, and TOLATA claims
Requirements for the Childcare Solicitor:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in dealing with Divorce and Financial Remedy matters
- Strong advocacy skills with experience in Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings
