Job Description

Caritas Futures are supporting a well-known national Children and Young People Charity with a Children and Young People Worker (Domestic Abuse Practitioner) based in Halton

As a Children Young People Worker you will support Children and Young People who have been affected by Domestic Violence, by offering therapeutically informed interventions for CYP as part of the clinically informed youth work workforce

Experience:

• Must have experience of working with Parenting, families, children, and Young People
• Experience of supporting families who are dealing with complex and sensitive issues through offering advice and advocacy
• Relationship building skills.
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to plan and manage own workload

Due to the nature of the work the following are essential:

• DBS on update service or one will be conducted on your behalf
• On site working to best support clients
• A driving licence, access to a car and willingness to travel across the region
