SalaryWe are on the lookout for Children's Social Workers in Exeter or Torquay to join the Devon Council Assessment Team, working to support children and young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to build meaningful and positive relationships with the community and work closely with them to achieve positive outcomes. This role is advertised at £44p/h
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safeguarding children and young people at risk
- Taking a strength based approach
- Gathering sufficient information from service users, informal networks and other agencies to provide a holistic assessment of needs
- To formulate and produce outcome-focused plans with clear aims and objectives
- Ensuring all necessary referrals are made to the relevant teams
- Identifying community and other natural sources of support, maximising strengths within families and communities using preventative/universal services.
- Attending court as directed, and compiling and presenting relevant evidence
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Social Work qualification
- Social Work England registration
