We currently require a carers to work across the 3 children’s homes.
The role involves working as per the shift pattern required day or night. We want to recruit a team that can regulate their emotions and understand emotional intelligence. As a carer you need to be able to self-regulate, self-awareness, resilient, enthusiastic, and caring.
Are you able to have fun and interact on activities with the young people along with the ability to give guidance and support when they are struggling with behaviours, due to being in crisis. Experience of working with children and young people with Learning Disabilities,- ADHD, and presenting Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) including low self-esteem, self-harming, and challenging behaviours is desirable but not essential, We will provide training and support to enable you to become part of a team that creates a therapeutic, restorative, family environment for children and young people who have suffered abuse, neglect, and other trauma.
Children's Residential carers with no experience or qualifications will be paid a basic Pay from £12 increasing after completion of probationary period and passed training and competency Additional amounts on top of basic salary will be added for waking nights @£13/hour and sleepovers @£60 which will be a part of the rota line.
Seniors are paid from between £30,600 (inclusive of 6/8 sleepovers per month) Over time available and waking night rate when on rota. These roles will involve a variety of shifts, days, nights, sleepovers over seven days a week.

Essential elements of person specification for either role:
· You must have a full driving licence.
· Complete a satisfactory Enhanced DBS.
· Satisfactory references
· You must have the right to work in the UK.
· Be active team player with good communication skills both written and verbal.
· Must be willing to undertake Diploma level 4 Children, young people and family’s practitioner funded by Beloved Childcare.
