We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide assistance and support to individuals in need. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Duties:
- Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor client's condition and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, childcare, or patient care is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client transportation needs
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate client needs

Training and progression?
When you first start working in care, you’ll do an induction which should include the Care Certificate. You’ll also undergo basic training such as health and safety, first aid, and moving and handling. You might also receive specific training based on what the person you’re caring for needs.
You can also benefit from:
` Informal training & education.
` Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Health and Social Care (up to Level 5) or specialist subjects like dementia care, communication skills and team leading.
Over 50 vocational qualifications at all levels including topics such as dementia care, communication skills and team leading.
Opportunities to progress and develop in adult social care and specialise in a certain area or take on more responsibility.
