Children's Support Worker - Waking Nights, complex care and learning disabilities Your new company
We are recruiting for Waking NightSupport Workers to work within an independent company based in Dorset that offers Care and Support to children and adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs. Our client's aim is to provide high quality, tailored services to children and adults with Learning Disabilities to achieve their full potential.
Your new role
Your main responsibility as a residential Support Worker is to make sure the residents you care for are safe and progress in their personal development. You will work alongside other staff members to provide a safe, warm, caring and stable environment for the residents. You will be there to provide care should residents wake at night. You will also be required to carry out household duties such as cleaning and laundry.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be an enthusiastic, friendly, flexible, hardworking and motivated individual with a passion for working with children and young people You must have at least 6 months previous experience of working with children and adults Level 2 NVQ in health & social Care Desirable Full UK Licence advantageous Immediate start if DBS is online What you'll get in return
GBP11.80 per hour 3 or 4 Waking Nights based on a rolling rota Free Enhanced DBS Continuous Training and Development Opportunities available Working within a rewarding team Permanent opportunities available What you need to do now
