Our client is a diverse and vibrant London borough and they are looking to appoint a CIL / s106 Support Officer to assist them in manging and monitoring Planning Obligations from Community Infrastructure Levy's and Section 106 Agreements. They have a very busy programme so they will need you to be competent in this area of work and able to hit the ground running.
Working in their Neighbourhoods and Housing Division you will provide day to day operations of Council systems such as M3 and Exacom remain up to date in terms of the management, monitoring expenditure and allocation of financial and non-financial developer contributions arising from CIL and s106 Agreements. You will also provide support and advice to Development Management in matters related to the levying of CIL and the discharge of financial and non financial s106 obligations.
To carry out this role successfully, previous experience in a similar role or substantial experience in planning or property is required. You will have a proven track record of working independently on a full range of S106 Agreement and CIL work, working to tight deadlines in a manner that is consistent with meeting corporate targets and objectives and that requires minimal input or correction from the Principal Officers.
This role will be based with our client in East London though they do have a hybrid working from home system in place. This role will initially run for 3 months, but could be extended.
Our client is offering £21.800p/hr umbrella for this position. A full job spec is available at application stage.
