We are recruiting for a Non-Marine Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, one of the industry's most highly respected and top performing Lloyd's Syndicates.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Syndicate by handling a portfolio comprised of Property Binders and Open Market Claims. The claims will be predominantly US based, but will also include some from other international regions, including the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling complex claims and liaising with Underwriters, including updating them on claims developments, and assisting in the preparation and delivery of claims and management reports.
• Liaising with both the Reinsurance team and the Outwards Reinsurance team.
• Building and maintaining the company's profile with Claims Brokers and key external reports.
• Assisting with the preparation and analysis of MI.
• Preparing and/or reviewing the initial set up of claims entries, maintaining the Claims Management system entries for complex claims.
• Liaising with Underwriters, Brokers and Loss Adjusters to update reserves and obtain reports.
• Providing support on major losses (including attending claims meetings) and liaising with Underwriters.
• Liaising with insurers regarding complex claim CLASS entries.
• Assisting in the preparation of regular claims reports.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience of handling Property Claims, ideally within the Lloyd's / London Market. Candidates from a Claims Broking background will also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
