Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to play a pivotal role in the Accounts Team supporting the manager and the wider business as a whole. They will be maintaining, recording and processing critical financial information and providing essential administration supporting the smooth running of the financial business function.

The main responsibilities of the Finance Assistant role are:-
- To liaise with clients / customers regarding their financial documentation
- Daily bank transfers
- Transactional Financial duties including regular payment runs (Accounts Payable) and generating invoices (Accounts Receivable)
- Reconciliation of bank accounts on a daily basis
- Reconciliation of client and supplier accounts
- Working in foreign currency
The ideal Finance Assistant would meet the following criteria:-
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential
- Ability to work to deadlines and have great communication skills
- Have great IT skills including MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Have a relevant Finance qualification, working towards one, or equivalent
- Experience of a Sage based system would be an advantage, but not essential
