Claims Handler - Wadhurst 26kDo you have a basic knowledge of insurance claim processes and understanding of insurance principles?Full training providedSalary: £23,000 - £26,000 (dependant on experience)Location: WadhurstYour hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:30pmResponsibilities: Record and process insurance claims proactively while adhering to established principles and procedures. Input new claims into the system and manage incoming correspondence. Maintain Bordereaux spreadsheets for insurers at a high standard. Instruct Loss Adjusters and engineers within delegated authority limits. Maintain accurate reserves reflecting damages on files. Process claim cheques within authorized limits. Identify and escalate potential fraudulent claims. Adhere to regulatory requirements such as TCF, DPA, AML, and Anti-Bribery principles.Ideal candidate: Must be able to drive. Claims experience is essential. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail Ability to make decisions and take initiative. Excellent problem-solving skills.
