THE ROLE
This is an opportunity for a Shipping Solicitor 2 - 4 to join a highly regarded business
You will provide P&I and FDD (Freight, Demurrage and Defence) claims handling service and advice.
Key Responsibilities to include:
To promote the relationship between the Club and existing Members for which the Claims team is responsible.
To handle assigned claims in accordance with company procedures, provide advice on claims related issues and identify the need for loss prevention activity.
Handling a wide range of P&I issues and a substantial Defence caseload, including complex and high value matters.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Solicitor with 2pqe+, with previous experience handling Shipping Litigation and dispute resolution, from either a P&I club, insurer, law firm, ship owner or ship agent.
