Class 1 Drivers - Immediate Starts

Newstaff Employment are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Bedford.

- Paid Assessments are now available.

- Immediate Starts / Daily Shifts

Requirements

Minium 2 days a week Friday & Saturday , start time available between 10:00 - 13:00.

Must be flexible to drive all vehicles. (Truck, Rigid or Urban Trailers)

Have no more than 6 points on your license

Minimum 1 year Experience as HGV 1 Driver

Good English Language and communication is compulsory

Must have a valid UK Driving License, UK DIGI card and UK CPC card

Job Role

1 or 2 store deliveries per day

Average 12hrs shift

Daily Bookings

Unload cages/pallets

PAYE Rates

Day Shift GBP17ph

Back Shift GBP17.75ph

Night Shift GBP19.93ph

Bank Holiday - GBP34ph - GBP39.86ph

Overtime is paid after 45hrs , from GBP22.73ph - GBP25.66ph

Please note after 12 weeks, 45minuite break will be paid

Employment will be subject to completing and passing a driver assessment and induction.
