Hatchell Wood is a large, and growing, primary school in Bessacarr, Doncaster with just over 400 children on roll. Staff strive to promote an inclusive, child centred approach to education, where all children enjoy their learning which allows them to thrive and therefore meet their full potential.
Are you a dynamic, motivating, creative and enthusiastic teacher? The Headteacher and Governors of this thriving and good school are looking to appoint two new teachers to support the growth of the school; one post is for EYFS and the year group of the second post will be decided based on the strengths of the successful candidate. Applications from early career teachers are warmly welcomed and there is a strong ECT support network as part of the school and also the Trust.
In February 2022, the school had a successful Ofsted Section 5 Inspection and is looking to further improve on the strengths and area for improvement from the report.
